Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 September 2026. Operated by Build Scalably.
These terms govern your use of NairaFlow App — the web app, mobile app, Telegram bot, WhatsApp channel, and the API behind them. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who may use
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Build Scalably is the registered business you contract with under these terms; NairaFlow App is the product. We work remotely and do not publish a physical address — email is the reliable contact route.
You confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for any business you register, and you are responsible for the accuracy of everything you register (email, business details, bank details).
2. What the service is
NairaFlow App is a record-keeping platform. It helps you record sales, purchases and expenses; track inventory; manage debts; issue invoices; produce reports; and give staff limited access. It runs on the web, mobile, Telegram bot, and WhatsApp — all reading and writing the same business data.
What it is not: not a payment processor, bank, lender, accountant, auditor, or tax adviser. Reports and the AI assistant reflect the data you entered. Nothing produced by the platform is professional financial, tax, or legal advice. It does not file taxes or make statutory filings.
You remain responsible for your statutory books, tax filings, and the accuracy of your records. Keep your own backups.
3. Accounts, credentials and access
- Accounts use email + password (at least 6 characters). Older accounts may use phone + PIN.
- Staff sign in with phone + PIN. A staff phone number cannot sign in as an owner.
- Keep credentials and Telegram link codes confidential. You are responsible for activity under them. Report suspected compromise to [email protected] immediately.
- One-time codes for reset are valid for 5 minutes, work once, and must not be shared.
- Do not share a single owner account between separate businesses, or create accounts by automated means.
4. Staff accounts and access control
You may create staff accounts and are responsible for what they do. The platform restricts staff by design: cost prices and margins are withheld, and financial reports are refused — enforced server-side. You must not attempt to bypass these restrictions. Remove staff promptly when they stop working with you — access ends immediately.
5. Plans, trials, limits and payment
| Plan | Price | Transactions | Products | Staff | Contacts | Invoices |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | 100/mo | 20 | 1 | 50 | 10/mo |
| Growth | ₦5,000/mo | 1,000/mo | 200 | 5 | 500 | 50/mo |
| Premium | ₦15,000/mo | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
New businesses start on Starter with a 7-day trial. Once that passes, access is blocked until a plan is assigned. Plans are assigned by administrators — there is no card or transfer payment flow inside the app today. Where a paid plan is agreed, price, billing period and method are agreed directly; plans are not transferable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive; enter another person's data without a lawful basis; attempt to access another business's records; bypass authentication, rate limits, plan limits, feature gating, or staff restrictions; resell or sublicense without a written agreement; transmit malware or spam; use the AI assistant or messaging channels to process data you are not entitled to share; or reverse engineer except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, or where your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk. Where suspension is not urgent, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
7. Your data and your responsibilities
- You own your business data. You grant us the right to store, process, back up, and transmit it to run the service, including sending it to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
- You are the controller of your customers' and staff data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold it and for telling those people what you do with it. We act as your processor.
- Free-text fields (descriptions, notes, receipt links) are your responsibility — keep them factual and relevant.
- Do not enter data you are not entitled to enter (bank credentials, card numbers, unnecessary sensitive personal data).
- Assistance messages are processed by our AI service. Verify anything that matters; never treat output as financial or tax advice.
- Exports (CSV, PDF) are produced from your data — check them before relying on them for tax or filing.
8. Integrations
- Telegram: Link with a code from Settings → Connect Telegram. Actions in the bot affect real records. Unlink with
/disconnect. - WhatsApp: Messaging runs on Twilio and is currently in a limited (sandbox) state — reliability may differ. Voice notes are transcribed by an external provider.
- AI assistant: Can propose actions that you confirm before they apply. It can be wrong — verify anything important.
- API access: Where included in your plan, keep tokens secret; you are responsible for calls made with them.
9. Service availability and support
We aim to keep the platform available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, and events outside our control may interrupt it. Features may change or be retired. Support is available through [email protected]; response times are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
10. Suspension, termination and deletion
- You may stop using the service at any time. To delete an account or business, contact support — whole-business deletion is performed by administrators, is permanent, and removes the business's transactions, products, contacts, invoices, bookings, staff and related records. No self-service deletion exists yet. See Delete Your Account for the request steps and what is removed.
- We may suspend a business for breach, non-payment of an agreed plan, or risk to the platform. Suspended businesses cannot authenticate until the issue is resolved.
- After deletion, we may retain limited records where the law requires (e.g., accounting, tax, dispute records) and in backups until they rotate.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we exclude implied warranties. We are not liable for decisions you make relying on records, reports, or the assistant; loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings; indirect or consequential loss; data you failed to export or back up; interruptions or acts/omissions of third-party providers; or unauthorised access from your failure to keep credentials secure.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event, or ₦50,000 if you are on a free plan. Nothing limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date shows the current version. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where practicable. Continuing use after a change means acceptance; if you do not accept, stop using the service and ask for deletion.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before starting proceedings, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue directly. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
